Sources: NOAA National Hurricane Center and Central Pacific Hurricane Center (storms, forecast cones, tropical outlooks), NWS (warnings and watches), Storm Prediction Center (severe storm, tornado and fire weather outlooks), NOAA MRMS radar, Iowa Environmental Mesonet (storm reports), Weather Prediction Center (excessive rainfall and heavy snow outlooks), USGS Earthquake Hazards Program, and the USGS volcano observatories. Canadian and Mexican national weather warnings are not included yet; storms, earthquakes and volcanoes cover all three countries.
A web page only helps while it is open. Keep Wireless Emergency Alerts turned on in your phone and have a second way to get warnings, such as a NOAA Weather Radio. The NWS feed itself can run a minute or two behind a new warning.
This is an independent summary, not an official warning service. For decisions about life and property, follow your local National Weather Service office at weather.gov , the National Hurricane Center at nhc.noaa.gov , and local emergency officials.
